STEP BY STEP PAPPADA VADA
INGREDIENTS:
Rice flour - 1 cup
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - for frying
HOW TO MAKE:
In a bowl add rice flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, sesame seeds and needed salt. Add water little by little, bring to thick flowing batter consistency. Should be bajji batter consistency.
Heat oil in a kadai. Dip pappad in the batter and coat well. Slowly drop in the hot oil. Deep fry till golden brown.
Deep fry till golden brown. Repeat until finish the batter.
Crispy Pappada Vada is ready to serve!! Enjoy with a cup of Coffee / Tea of your choice 😋
TIPS:
Batter should be thick flowing consistency not too watery.
Adding chilli flakes is absolutely optional instead pepper powder can be added.
Kasoori methi can be added for flavor.
