Pasi Paruppu Idli - Healthy protein rich idlies without rice! Nowadays this idli is moving around like Virus but healthy virus :-) One of my friend Shilpa Bellare posted in Insta Pot page and I found it very interesting! I was very curious how this will be very soft and fluffy like our usual idli which we make with rice and urad! The right after next day I soaked Moong & Urad dals and it was amazing!! It was super good and delicious with sambar 😋 . Thank you for the wonderful recipe Shilpa, appreciated! I did not try to make dosa yet, but I would definitely say that it will be scrumptious! Add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste for flavorful dosa! INGREDIENTS: Moongdal / Pasi Paruppu - 1 cup Urad dal - 1 cup Salt - as needed HOW TO MAKE: Soak Moong & Urad dal seperately for 3 to 4 hours. Grind moong into coarse paste by adding water and grind urad into a fluffy

POTATO PAAL CURRY / URULAI KIZHANGU PAAL CURRY

Potato Paal Curry is a south indian dish and mostly they place in wedding feasts. My brother love this curry and ofcourse I too. My mom and grandma use to prepare in festival days and without knowing the name I (I didnt have an intention to know too :-) ) started to love this curry. When I made this my hubby and my kids enjoyed this dish with Bisi Bele Bath and I have used left over curry stuffing in dosa as masala dosa. Potato with coconut masala gives rich texture and awesome taste. Here is the recipe for your views... VAZHAITHANDU SAMBAR / BANANA STEM SAMBAR

Vazhaithandu is one of my favourite vegetable and I just love it to the core. As I mentioned in my earlier Vazhaithandu Raitha , whenever I find this vegetable in Indian store I will just grab it and I do cook the same atleast thrice a week. Last weekend I got only 2 small stems and I made vazhaithandu sambar. My mom makes awesome vazhaithandu sambar and ofcourse this is my mom's recipe :-) This vegetable has a lot of nutrition value and try to add vazhaithandu often in your diet. Vazhaithandu juice in empty stomach is one of the healthiest way to reduce the fat. Recipe will be on soon!
