Sprouted Moong Salad is a easy, delicious and as well as a very healthy salad recipe. It is colorful, refreshing and a good source of protein and calcium. If we have a sprouted moong and then we can have a quick salad by adding many side veggies, dry fruits & fruits.
INGREDIENTS:
Sprouted green moong - 1 Cup
Grated carrot - 1/2 cup
Steamed corn - 1/2 cup
Capsicum - 1/2 cup chopped
Cucumber - 1/2 cup chopped
Parsley - 1/4 cup chopped
Dried cranberries - 1/4 cup
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Ranch salad dressing - as needed
HOW TO MAKE:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. and serve right away or chilled.
Serve immediately or chilled.
TIPS:
Pomegranate, nuts can be added too.
Other fruits or veggies can be added depends on taste.
If serving immediately then add onion and needed salt (if required). I preferred to serve chilled for my kids, hence did not add onion or salt which will produce water if we keep long.
Ranch has salt in it that's also reason for not adding salt.
Any salad dressing can be used.
