TURMERIC CHUTNEY VIDEO





INGREDIENTS:

Onion                - 1 Big
Tomato              - 1 Medium
Fresh Turmeric - 1/4 Cup chopped
Grated Coconut- 1/4 Cup 
Curry Leaves    - Few
Red Chillies      - 4 to 5
Salt                    - to taste
Oil                     - 3 tbsp

TO TEMPER:

Oil                     - 1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds  - 1/4 tbsp
Urad Dal           - 1/2 tbsp
Red Chilli         - 1

HOW TO MAKE:

Heat oil in a kadai add onion, tomato, fresh turmeric, grated coconut, curry leaves, red chillies and salt.  Saute till onion and tomatoes are tender.  Do not add water. 


Allow to cool down.  Transfer to mixer and make a fine paste.  Adding water is optional.  


Transfer the chutney to the serving bowl.  Heat oil in sauce pan splutter mustard seeds, urad dal and red chilli.  Temper the chutney and mix well.  


Fresh Yummy chutney is ready.  Serve with Idli, Dosa, Rice or Dip for crackers.
