Today am here with a spicy and tangy poha recipe which made with vegetables and crunchy peanuts. This is so easy to make yet delicous.
INGREDIENTS:
Poha - 2 cupsOnion - 1 big
Ginger - 1 tbsp
Green chili - 5
Potato - 1 cup chopped
Peas - 1/2 cup
Peanuts - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - for garnishing
Salt - to taste
TO TEMPER:
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Chana dal - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
HOW TO MAKE:
Wash poha and soak in a bowl of water for 20 minutes. Drain the water completely and keep aside.
Add chopped tomato, peas, curry leaves, turmeric powder and hing. Combine well and sprinkle some water. Cook until vegetables are soft.
Add soaked poha and mix well. Heat oil in a pan and roast peanuts until golden brown.
Add roasted peanuts, chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice. Combine well.
Tangy and Spicy Poha is ready to eat.
TIPS:
Add any vegetables of your choice.
Do not over soak the poha as it may results mushy.
