AVOCADO CHAPATI | AVOCADO ROTI | AVOCADO PARATHA


Avocado Roti is very very soft and they stay for long time, which makes them for perfect lunch or dinner.  This super healthy roti takes our flatbread to the next level.  A perfect healthy roti for vegan and this avocado adds very beautiful color and blend with high nutrients.  We can serve this with any curry or can use them as a wrap as well.  



INGREDIENTS:

Ripe Avocado     - 1 
Wheat flour        - 1 
Salt                     - to taste
Water                  - if needed

 HOW TO MAKE:

Remove seed from Avocado and scoop the pulp.  Mash well by using fork or spoon.


Add wheat flour and needed salt. Make a fine dough without adding water.  For 1 cup wheat flour adding 1 avocado is perfect and if the dough is too sticky add little flour if it if too tight add little water and make a fine dough.  Let the dough rest for 20 minutes. 


After 20 minutes knead the dough again and make equal size balls.  Dust the dough ball in the wheat flour and make a thin circle.  



Heat tava and grease with little oil (Oil no need if it is non stick tava).  Place roti on the tava and cook both sides until the brown spots form on both sides.  


Serve hot with any curry or raitha.


TIPS:

Avocado is a very healthy vegetable which can be eaten raw and need not be cooked.  So making very thin circle, helps to cook roti for less time.  

As it is super healthy roti, try avoid ghee or oil and just tava can be greased with very little oil. 

Adding salt is an optional and can avoided. 

For 1 cup wheat flour 1 avocado is perfect for making dough without adding water.  If the dough is too tight just sprinkle little water to make a fine dough.
