RAGI KANJI | FINGER MILLET PORRIDGE - SWEET VERSION




Ragi kanji is very healthy and delicious drink made using Ragi / Finger Millet.  It is very perfect for breakfast and can be sipping like smoothie the whole day.  There are lot of ways we can use ragi in our regular diet and today am here with sweet version of Ragi Porridge / Ragi Kanji. Will be posting the salted version soon 😀

FINGER MILLET PORRIDGE STEP BY STEP


Take ragi flour in a bowl and mix well along with a cup of water without any lumps.  Cook in medium flame and stir continuously to avoid forming lumps. 


Slowly when it form a thick paste add milk and stir well.  


When it become like a porridge consistency turn off the stove add tsp of honey or sugar as per your choice.  Add dates or other nuts.  Serve hot, warm or cold. 


TIPS:

Instead mixing with water, can be mixed directly with milk and cook too. 

Adding nuts absolutely your choice.

This porridge can be prepared in the night with water and can be stored in the fridge and morning hot or warm milk can be added before serving.
