STEP BY STEP TUTTI FRUTTI BISCUITS:

INGREDIENTS:

All Purpose flour - 1 1/2 cups 
Custard powder  - 1/4 cup 
Butter                - 1/2 cup 
Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup 
Milk                   - 2 tbsp 
Baking powder   - 1/4 tsp 
Baking soda       - a pinch
Tutti Frutti         - 1/4 cup 
Cashews            - 2 tbsp 

HOW TO MAKE:

Take butter and powdered sugar in a bowl.  Butter should be in a room temperature.  Whisk until smooth.  




Sieve all purpose flour, custard powder, baking powder and baking soda together.  


Add tutti frutti and cashews.  Combine well and bring it to crumbs texture.  


Add milk and mix gently.  Do not knead. 


Do not give pressure to make a dough.  Refer below picture for cookie dough texture.  


Roll dough in to cylindrical shape .  cling wrap tightly and refrigerate for an hour.   


After an hour remove wrap and cut cookie into thick slices.  Should be neither thick nor thin.  Place parchment paper on the tray and spread the cookie with enough space around.  Do not overcrowded.    


Preheat oven 350 degrees and bake for 15 minutes.  Cool down completely.  Store in airtight container to stay fresh for a month.

TIPS:

Add few drops of rose essence or vanilla essence to enhance cookie flavor.
