CRACKLING SPINACH | COOK WITH COMALI CRACKLING SPINACH

 

STEP BY STEP CRACKLING SPINACH

INGREDIENTS:

Spinach - 3 cups thinly stripped (Palak)
Red chili flakes - 1 tsp 
Sugar              - 1 tsp 
Salt                 - 1/4 tsp 
Sesame seeds  - 1 tbsp roasted
Almond flakes  - as required 
Oil                  - for deep frying 

 

HOW TO MAKE:

Crush red chili flakes, sugar and salt together and keep aside. Roast sesame seeds until golden brown. 

 
 Wash spinach, dry them completely and cut into thin stripes.  Add 1/4 cup of corn flour. 


Combine well. 
 

Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry corn flour quoted spinach in medium flame. 
 
Remove from the oil and drain them on a paper towel. Transfer fried spinach to a bowl.
 

Add crushed red chili flakes, sugar and salt mix, roasted sesame seeds and roasted almond flakes.  Combine well.
 
 
 Enjoy munching Crackling Spinach. 😋

TIPS:

Add any nuts on your choice. 

Crushed pepper can be added instead red chili flakes.
