STEP BY STEP SWEET POTATO METHI:

INGREDIENTS:

Sweet Potato - 4 cups Chopped
Methi leaves - 1 bunch
Red Chili powder - 1 tsp 
Coriander powder - 1 tsp 
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp 
Garlic - 5 cloves crushed 
Salt - to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp  

HOW TO MAKE:

Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds add urad dal. Saute until golden brown.  Add crushed garlic, red chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Saute for a minute.

 


Add chopped methi leaves along with needed salt. Combine well. Add chopped sweet potato.

 
Combine well and sprinkle little water. Cover and cook until soft. 


Delicious Sweet Potato Methi Sabzi is ready to serve!!


 TIPS:

Green chili can be added instead red chili powder.

Any greens of your choice can be added instead methi. 

Try with kale, spiach and drumstick leaves.
