MORE KUZHAMBU



Ingredients:

Curd - 2 Cups
Ladies Finger - 250 gms
Raw rice - 2 tsp
Thuvar dhal - 2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Green chillies - 2
Ginger - Small piece
Turmeric powder - for color (2 pinch)
Grated Coconut - 1 tsp (If needed)
Asafoetida - 2 pinch
Salt - For taste
Oil - 1/2 tsp
Mustard - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - little

How to Make:


Soak raw rice, thuvar dhal for 30 mins.  Beat the curd and add 1/2 cup water and keep aside. 

Put soaked rice, thuvar dhal, cumin seeds, green chillies and ginger in a mixie and grind it to a smooth paste.

Mix the paste with the curd and blend nicely and add turmeric and salt as well. (More Kuzhambu mix is ready)

Cut the ladies finger into small pieces.

In a kadai little oil put mustard, asafoetida  fry the ladies fingers nicely for 5 minutes.

Add more kuzhambu mix with the fried ladies fingers and switch off the gas within 5 mins.

Garnish with curry leaves.

This more kuzhambu is most compatible with rice.  Ennai Kathirikai (Brinjal fry) is the best combination.

*There is no need the curd get cooked.
