MANGO MOUSSE / EGGLESS MANGO MOUSSE


Mango - The name itself makes us feel mouthwatering isn't it!  I can't say the Mango is one of my favourite, instead I should say it's favourite for most of the people :-)  I hope I have mentioned in my earlier posts that I brought up in Srirangam, Mambazha (Mango) Salai which is the place famous for all kind of mangoes.  During summer almost everyday we used to have mangoes and I still remember that, Chinnayan Mama brings Pacharisi Mango (one of the variety of Mangoes) from the garden where he used to work.  I just love that Mango.  That Mango never get ripe but tastes like sugar.  That much sweet will be there.  My appa used to buy Banganaballi (Variety of mangoes)! Wow.....Curd rice with Mangoes yummmmm! My favourite :-)  There are lot to write and I can't stop ;-)  


Yesterday, I could not resist myself when I saw Mangoes in Costco. I grabbed a dozen of mangoes and wanted to have it right away once got back home ;-)  I started cutting the mangoes and there was no pieces in the plate and everything already got inside my tummy he he ;-)  I was thinking to make Mango Panna Cotta, but I have to refrigerate at least 5 to 6 hours to set it.  No way that we could wait for that long so made this yummy yummy Mango Mousse which we can make it instant.  This mousse can be made quickly with just three ingredients and trust me its scrumptious.  You all love it!  
INGREDIENTS:

Mangoes           - 1 cup chopped
Sugar                - 3 tsp
Whipped cream- 3/4 cup

HOW TO MAKE:

Peal the skin and chop the mango into pieces.  In a mixie / blender make a fine paste of it along with sugar.  Blend it until it get smoothy.  Keep aside. 


Take a whipped cream in a bowl and whisk well with a spoon or fork.  You can use the beater too.  Do not worry if you are not having a beater use a spoon or fork to whisk well.  


Keep 2 to 3 tsp of whipped cream and mango smoothy separately before you mix both together.   Now in the whipped cream mixture add mango smoothy.  Whisk both well until it get blend well. Take a serving bowl and put a tsp of mango smoothy then mixed mousse then a whipped cream as shown in the pic.  Follow the same or you can make it one layer or as you desire.  Keep refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour and serve chilled or can be eaten right away :-)  



TIPS:

Fresh cream can be used instead whipped cream.

Adding sweetened condensed milk will be even more rich and creamy.  If so do not add sugar.
