DRY FRUITS LADOO / NUTS LADOO / DRY NUTS LADOO



One of the easiest sweet which we can make it in 10 mins.  I was supposed to post for last year Diwali.  I did this in the middle and I forgot to click!  I did not want to miss this easiest sweet that too a healthy one.  I learnt this from my friend Hema Ashish and she make this ladoo often.  Thank you Hema for this wonderful recipe and this is just scrumptious.  This is very healthy with all the nuts and especially without sugar!  Yes...Sugar free Sweet...Interesting isn't it! Try this healthy sweet for this Diwali :-)  



INGREDIENTS:

Dates                       - 2 cups
Mixed nuts              - 1 cup (I used Cashews, Almonds, Pistachio & Raisins)
Ghee                       - 2 tsp
Cardamom powder - a pinch


HOW TO MAKE:

Break almonds, cashews and pisthachio into pieces.  Chop dates finely.  Heat ghee in a kadai add all the nuts except the dates.


Fry them 4 to 5 mins then add chopped dates.  Blend them well and mash the dates along with all the nuts.  Add cardamom powder.  Mix well then turn off the flame. 


Allow to warm and when it is warm enough to make balls grease palm with ghee and start making balls.
