INGREDIENTS:
Rava - 1 Cup
Sugar - 1 Cup
Ghee - 1/4 Cup
Water - 1 1/2 Cups
Kesari color - Two pinches
Cashew nuts - 10 Fried
HOW TO MAKE:
* Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan and fry the cashews till golden brown and keep aside.
* In the same pan roast rava in low flame until nice aroma comes and when it starts to change color just transfer it to a plate.
* Add water to the pan and allow it to boil and add kesari color, when it starts bubbling, add the rava little by little and stir continuously a careful that rava not to form lumps.
* keep stirring continuosly in medium flame for a minute until the rava gets cooked.
* Add the kesari color, keep stirring continuosly in medium flame.Keep covered for a minute until the rava gets cooked.
* Once the rava is cooked add the sugar and it will start to bubble up and keep stirring continously.
* Add ghee little by little and keep stirring continously. Add elachi powder and switch it off.
* Transferred the kesari in a ghee greased plate and use the mould for making a pieces.
* Decorate the cakes with fried cashews.
