CORN FRY / BABY CORN FRY

Baby corn stir fry recipe is very easy to make and very delicious too.  My kids like baby corn so at least two weeks once I make this fry.  They like to have this in lunch as a snack in school.  You can make this as a side dish for a meal or as a evening snack.  Enjoy this recipe...

INGREDIENTS:

Baby corn                - 10 to 15
Rice flour                 - 3 tsp
Thick curd                - 3 tsp
Ginger garlic paste   - 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder     - 1/4 tsp
Soda                          - a pinch
Salt                            - as needed
Oil                             - for frying
Curry leaves              - few

HOW TO MAKE:

Cut baby corn into pieces.

In a bowl mix all the ingredients except oil and corn.  Make a fine paste of it.  Do not add water.  Mix the baby corn in the paste.  Let the paste get spread in all sides of the corn.  Let the mixture get set for 10 mins. Meanwhile heat oil in a kadai for deep frying.

When the oil got drop the corn mixture little by little in a batch wise and deep fry it.  Drain it on the paper towel.

Fry the curry leaves in the oil and garnish the corn fry.

Baby corn fry is ready.

TIPS:

Do not add water in the mixture.

Add needed salt before you fry and will not be good if you add later.
