BHEL PURI


Bhel Puri is an excellent snack to much on, and that too with chai!!! No words to describe.  Yes...it is an exciting snack.  I have posted some chaat recipes a week before and now this is time for to eat bhel.  I was telling to my kids that I gonna make this but I could not.  Yesterday I gave a surprise and gave after they came from school.  They just loved it.  It is a preparation of puffed rice with small puries, chaat chutneys, mashed potato and sev.  It's very easy and simple recipe and have a great evening with this snack with chai.

INGREDIENTS:

Puffed rice         - 2 cups
Potato                - 1 boiled and chopped
Pani Puri            - 5 to 6 break into pieces
Onion                 - 1/2 finely chopped
Tomato               - 1/2 finely chopped
Chaat chutney    - each 2 tsp 
Chaat masala     - 1 tsp
Lemon juice       - 1 tsp
Salt                     - to taste

HOW TO MAKE:

In a bowl add boiled and chopped potatoes,  chaat masala, chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, chaat chutney, puffed rice and a pinch of salt.  Toss well.  Garnish with coriander leaves.  Sprinkle lemon juice.  When serve add sev on the top. 


Serve immediately.


TIPS:

Grated carrot can be added.
