Aam Ka Panna | Mango Panna | Aam Panna | Raw Mango Panna | Refreshing Summer Drink


Aam Panna is a very refreshing drink made with raw mangoes, ajwain, jaggery, chaat masala and cardamom powder. This drink is so hydrating, which is good for the scorching heat of summer, and it will rejuvenate you as well. The concentrate can be stored for 3 to 4 days in the fridge and this drink can be consumed daily to keep our bodies cool. Instead of ajwain leaves, mint leaves can be used as well. Try making this delicious refreshing drink and be hydrated. Enjoy!



STEP BY STEP AAM KA PANNA

INGREDIENTS:

Raw Mango.           - 1 
Jaggery                 - 1/4 Cup
Ajwain Leaves        - 4 - 5
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
Chaat Masala         - 1/4 tsp
Salt                       - less than 1/4 tsp

HOW TO MAKE:

Wash mango, peel the skin and cut into pieces.  In a sauce pan add mango pieces along with 1/4 cup of water and cook till soft.  If pressure cooking allow 2 to 3 whistles.  Allow to cool down. 


Grind cooked mango, jaggery, cardamom powder, chaat masala, ajwain leaves and salt into smooth paste.  


Take a tbsp or two ground concentrate depends on the size of serving glass.  Add ice cubes and needed chilled water.  mix well and serve chilled.  Can add more ice cubes depends on your choice.


TIPS:

Mint leaves can be used instead ajwain leaves. 

Cinnamon powder, pepper powder, black salt can be added instead chaat masala.  Chaat masala has most spices that need for making this delicious drink hence I have added the same.
