Oatmeal | Quick & Tasty Oatmeal


Oatmeal - it’s a universal recipe which we can make however we want. It’s very quick, easy, and yet tasty and nutritious! I could say oats is my life saver as it helps a lot during travel times. Being a vegetarian, I feel so happy when I see oatmeal in the restaurant display topped with some nuts and brown sugar..... yes.....that’s all I need for breakfast and Kaushi will be happy ☺️ My daughter makes overnight oats sometimes and she makes it so colorful - you just feel like eating by seeing the decor on her oatmeal 😘 I don’t like eating it too cold so my vote is always for a hot breakfast 🤪

STEP BY STEP OATMEAL :

INGREDIENTS:

Rolled Oats           - 1 Cup
Water                   - 2 Cups
Almond Milk          - 1/4 Cup
Dates                   - 3 - 4
Walnuts                - 3 - 4
Dried Cranberry    - 8 - 10
Cinnamon Powder - 1/4 tsp
Honey                  - 2 tbsp

HOW TO MAKE:

Add two cups water in saucepan and bring to boil.  When boiling add rolled oats and mix well.  


Cook till soft and stir often to avoid sticking to the bottom.  Once cooked turn off the stove. (If you want to have cold oatmeal once allow to cool down and refrigerate for an hour or two or overnight)


Transfer to serving bowl.  


Add almond milk, walnuts, dried cranberry, dates honey and cinnamon powder.  Enjoy with healthy breakfast and change adding ingredients depends on your choice. 



TIPS:

I prefer hot oats and if you want to have it cold, cook oats and refrigerate for an hour or two or overnight.  Then add nuts and other stuffs as per your choice. 

Chia seeds, flax seed powder can be added.

Adding other nuts and other healthy ingredients absolutely your choice.
