Raw Banana Peel Fritters | Raw Plantain Skin Fritters | Nendrangai Skin Fries | Banana Peel Pakoda

Whatever we do satisfaction is must, and when it comes to cooking, the ingredients you use and the taste of the dish should make you satisfied. This is that kind of recipe - it gave me full satisfaction because nothing was wasted. Yes, I made Nendrangai Chips and I used the peels for making these yummy fries. I knew my grandma makes banana bajji along with the skin, but she never made what I made today. I have never thought of or heard of making bajji with only banana peels until my friend Gayathri posted the recipe on her page. I used the ingredients in my own way and the bajji turned out super delicious.

Now we don’t need to trow away banana peels as it has amazing health benefits. They are not only edible but also rich in several key nutrients including potassium, dietary fiber, polyunsaturated fats, and essential amino acids. Here is the link for the benefits:

Serve Hot!  Yummy & Crispy Raw Banana Peel Fritters ready to serve! 😋

TIPS:

Cut into small pieces instead slice thinly.

Ajwain seeds can be added.

Do not mix so watery as it will stick together like bonda.  But it is totally up to you how to make it.  I made it like fries hence added less water.
