Gluten-free and Vegan Roti | Oats Roti | Oatmeal Flatbread

STEP BY STEP OATS ROTI:

INGREDIENTS:

Oats     - 1 Cup
Water   - 3/4 Cup / as required
Salt      - to taste

HOW TO MAKE:

Take a cup of oats (I used rolled oats) and make a fine powder. 



Take 3/4 cup water in a pan along with needed salt and bring to boil.  Add oats powder and turn off the stove. 



Mix well and and keep aside for couple of minutes until the mixture is warm enough to hold.  Knead the mixture and make a smooth non sticky dough.  Cover it with wet cloth and keep aside for 10 minutes. 



After 10 minutes, knead the dough for a minute and make small balls. Take balls one by one and pat gently. 


Roll into thin circle or as desired.  Heat tawa and cook roti both sides.  Soft Oatmeal Flatbread is ready.


Oatmeal Roti is ready to serve!! Serve hot with any curry of your choice. 


TIPS:

When rolling use gluten free flour for dusting as this is gluten free recipe. 

Oatmeal powder can be sieved to fine powder and this is absolutely optional.
