Badam Burfi | Badam Katli | Almond Katli | Almond Burfi | Badam Burfi with Almond Flour



Here is a super easy and quick Almond Katli / Badam Burfi made with readymade Almond Flour.  Making this Burfi is super quick as we are using the almond flour.  Do try this easiest sweet for this Diwali and click below link for the video.

STEP BY STEP BADAM BURFI

INGREDIENTS:

Almond flour - 1 cup 
Sugar           - 1 cup
Water           - 3/4 cup 
Ghee            - 1 tbsp 

HOW TO MAKE:

Grease tray with ghee and keep aside. In a pan add sugar and water together and start making a sugar syrup.  



Keep stirring and bring to one string consistency. Keep in medium flame. 



Touch with two fingers and it should form a single string as shown in the below picture.  That is is the perfect consistency for making a burfi.  When it reach one string consistency keep stove in low flame and add almond flour. 


Keep stirring continuously and break the lumps.  Add a tbsp of ghee and keep stirring. 


When the mixture starts leaving the pan turn off the stove.  


Pour mixture in the greased tray. Pan gently so the mixture spread well in the tray. Sprinkle some sugar on the top and this is absolutely optional. 


Level up with flat bowl by patting the mixture gently. Allow to cool down and cut into desired shape.


Badam Burfi / Almond Katli is ready to serve!!😋


TIPS:

Cardamom powder and saffron can be added for flavor and color. 

One string consistency is perfect for the sugar syrup.  Do not over do sugar consistency and the burfi will turn to hard.
