STEP BY STEP PORI URUNDAI

INGREDIENTS:

Puffed Rice - 4 cups

Jaggery      - 3/4 cup

Watr          - 1/4 cup

Ghee          - 1 tbsp

Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp 


HOW TO MAKE

Dry roast puffed rice until crisp.  Keep aside. 


In a pan take 3/4 cup jaggery (can take 1 cup if you need more sweet taste) along with 1/4 cup water.  Mix well and let the jaggery dissolve completely.  Bring to boil. 


Keep checking the syrup consistency by dropping little in a bowl of water.  


When you can make a ball out of the syrup then it is the perfect consistency.  


Once it reached ball consistency turn off the stove and add cardamom powder and a tbsp of ghee.  Mix well.  


Add roasted puffed rice and combine gently to coat the syrup evenly.  


When the mixture is warm enough to hold start making laddu.  


Easy and Quick healthy snack is ready 😋Store in an airtight container and it stays crisp for couple of weeks.
