STEP BY STEP JOWAR DOSA

INGREDIENTS:

Jowar - 2 cups 
Urad dal - 1/2 cup 
Salt - as required 
Water - as required 

HOW TO MAKE:

Take jowar and urad dal in a bowl and wash well.  Soak for 5 to 6 hours. 

 

Grind into fine paste by adding needed salt and water.  Keep aside until fermented. (overnight or 8 to 9 hours)

Mix well and bring in to dosa batter consistency by adding needed water. Make dosa and cook both sides until crisp.

Crispy and Delicious Jowar Dosa is ready to serve. Enjoy with any chutney / sambar of your choice.

 


TIPS:

Add any millet instead jowar and follow the same steps to make different kind millet dosa. 

Multi millets can be added too.

Idli can be made with the same batter. 

Add other spices to make it more flavorful.
