STEP BY STEP RAGI BARLEY PORRIDGE

INGREDIENTS:

Ragi Powder - 1 tbsp
Barley powder - 1 tbsp
Water             - 1 1/2 cups
Almond milk    - 1 1/2 cups
Coconut sugar - 1 tsp

HOW TO MAKE:

In a pan take ragi and barley powder along with one and a half cups of water. Mix well without any lumps. 

 

Turn on the stove and cook in a medium flame.  Stir continuously until get thickens and cook well. Once cooked add one and a half cups of milk. I have used almond milk but add any milk of your choice. 


Combine well without any lumps. Add any sugar of your choice. I have added coconut sugar. 

Mix well and bring it to boil.  Transfer to a serving cup.

Garnish with nuts of your choice. Healthy Ragi and Barley Porridge is ready to serve.


TIPS:

Any millet powder can be used for making the porridge. 

Dates or Dates syrup or honey can be added instead adding sugar. 

Instead milk buttermilk can be added to make it savory porridge.
