Instant Dosa | Quick and Crispy Instant Dosa

 


Here is the Instant Dosa recipe which can be done in 15 minutes.  No soaking, grinding or fermenting required.  This is super easy and quick to make on busy days.  Do try this recipe and click below link for youtube video.

STEP BY STEP INSTANT DOSA:

INGREDIENTS:

Rava - 2 Cups fine - if not fine grind into fine powder
Rice flour              - 1/4 cup 
Wheat flour           - 1/4 cup
Besan flour           - 1/4 cup 
Curd                    - 1/4 cup
Salt                      - to taste
Water                   - as required

HOW TO MAKE:

Take rava, rice flour, wheat flour, besan flour and needed salt in the bowl. Combine well.  Add curd and a cup of water and bring into thick batter.  Keep covered and rest for 15 minutes.  After 15 minutes mix well and add needed water to bring dosa  batter consistency.  


After 15 minutes mix well and add needed water to bring dosa  batter consistency. Heat and grease dosa tava.  Pour batter in the center ladle or two.  Spread into thin circle and drizzle some oil.  Cook both sides until crisp and golden brown.  Crispy and Tasty Instant Dosa is ready to serve.  Serve with any Sambar or chutney of your choice.

TIPS:

Batter should be neither thick nor watery.  

For making rava dosa add more water and bring it to watery consistency.  Can add pepper, green chili, cashews and other spices for rava dosa.  

Make thick batter and can make Adai like Akki Roti. 

Adding spices is absolutely your choice.
