CAULIFLOWER PEAS MASALA



INGREDIENTS:

Cauliflower Florets          - 2 Cups
Peas                                 - 3/4 Cup
Onion                              - 1 Cup Finely chopped
Tomato                            - 1 Cup finely chopped
Chilli powder                  - 1 Tsp
Garam masala                 - 1 Tsp
Turmeric powder            - 1/4 Tsp
Cornflour                        - 1 Tsp
Oil                                  - 2 Tsp
Zeera                              - 1 Tsp
Salt                                 - As needed


HOW TO MAKE:


Wash the cauliflower florets, peas and steam for 5 to 7 minutes in microwave.  You can use a vessel or a cooker but should not get over cooked otherwise it will get mushy.





Heat oil in a kadai put zeera and onion.  Fry onions till it turn into brown in color.


Add ginger garlic paste and fry it well.  Add finely chopped tomatoes and blend it well for 5 mins and it will become soft.



Add chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and salt and blend it well together.  Put half a glass of water and cook for 5 minutes.  Wait till the oil separates and form the gravy. Now add steamed florets and peas and mix it well.



Add water as needed and cook for 5 minutes.  If you think it is watery then add cornflour mixture (one spoon cornflour + 4 Tsp of water) and it will give a thick gravy masala.

Transfer the masala to the serving bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.



Serve with hot poories or chappathies.
