MIXED BEANS PULAO



INGREDIENTS:

Mixed beans       - 1/4 cup (I used tinned one)
Cooked rice        - 1 cup (Basmati rice should be better)
Onion                 - 1 finely chopped
Tomato               - 1 finely chopped
Ginger garlic
paste                   - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala       - 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves   - for garnishing
Salt                       - as needed

To temper:

Oil                       - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds        - 1/4 tsp

HOW TO MAKE:

Cook rice in 1 1/2 cup of water and separate the rice without sticking each other.  Keep aside  Wash the bean well and drain the water.  Heat oil in a kadai add cumin seeds.  Add chopped onions and fry until it transparent.  Add ginger garlic paste and blend well until the nice aroma comes.  Add chopped tomatoes.


Blend well, add red chilli, coriander powder and garam masala. Blend well till the raw smell goes.  Add cooked rice and needed salt.   Mix well.



Garnish with coriander leaves.  Mixed Beans Pulao is ready

Serve with Raitha.



TIPS:

Tinned beans are ready to use so I used for easy cooking.  Else you can soak all the beans overnight then pressure cook the same.

Use one beans instead of mixed beans that also give different taste.
