KAMBU DOSA / BAJRA FLOUR DOSA / PEARL MILLET FLOUR DOSA

An easy karacha maavu dosai which can be made by Kambu flour.  North Indians make Bajra roti out of it.  I knew this from one of my friend Hema it is kambu flour.  She is from Gujarath and she often makes dosa and roti out of bajra flour.  When I made this it turned out very crispy and tasty.  My family liked a lot and I have decided to make this healthy dosa atleast once in a week.
Enjoy this healthy dosa for breakfast or dinner.

INGREDIENTS:

Bajra flour / Kambu flour   - 1 cup
Wheat flour                         - 3/4 cup
Rice flour                            - 1 tsp
Onion                                  - 1 finely chopped
Coriander leaves                 - 2 tsp finely chopped
Asafoetida                           - a generous pinch
Cumin seeds / Jeera            - 1 tsp
Salt                                      - as needed

HOW TO MAKE:

In a bowl mix all the ingredients and mix it by adding water little by little.  The batter should be like watery consistency like normally we do for dosa.

Heat dosa tava / pan and pour the dosa batter.  Make a thin circle and drizzle with oil on it and outer circle too.  Flip the dosa once it cooked and let the other side also cooked.

Serve hot with any chutney or sambar and we had with red chilli chutney.

TIPS:

Dosa batter consistency should be watery and not too thick like Adai batter.

Asafoetida is an optional and I add it for a flavour.
