STEP BY STEP BOTTLE GOURD DOSA:

INGREDIENTS:
Rice - 2 cups Toor dal - 1/2 cup Ginger - medium size pieces - add as required Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp Bottle gourd - 1 medium size Red chili - 8 to 9 Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Salt - as required

HOW TO MAKE:

Soak rice and toor dal for 4 to 5 hours.


Wash well and add in the mixer along with other ingredients.  Add enough water and grind into dosa batter consistency. 


Mix well.  Heat dosa Tawa and pour a needed dosa batter in the center of the tawa.  Spread into thin circle and drizzle oil around.  


Flip the dosa and cook both sides until crisp.  


Crispy Bottle Gourd Dosa is ready.  Serve with any chutney, sambar of your choice.  



TIPS:

Adding spices is absolutely your choice. 

Add onion, drumstick leaves, coconut to make bottle gourd adai. 

Batter consistency should be neither thick nor watery. 

Dosa can be made right away after grinding.  For little sourness ferment the batter.
