STEP BY STEP KULKULS

INGREDIENTS:

All purpose flour / Maida - 1 cup Rava - 1/4 cup Powdered sugar - 1/4 cup Baking soda - 1/4 tsp Milk - 1/4 cup Ghee - 2 tbsp Water - as required

HOW TO MAKE:

In a bowl, take all purpose flour, rava, powdered sugar, baking soda.  Give a gentle mix.  Add 2 tbsp of ghee.

Combine well.  Add milk and bring to crumbled texture.

Add water little by little and make soft and non sticky dough.  Apply some ghee on the dough and keep covered with wet cloth for 10 minutes.

Take gooseberry sized dough and spread it on the fork as shown below.  Start roll down from the top and join the end to form kulkul.

Beautiful kulkul is ready.  Repeat to finish the dough and keep all the kulkuls ready.  Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry in batches.

Fry kulkuls until golden brown.  Remove from the oil.

Kulkuls are ready to munch 😋

TIPS:

Usually kulkuls are made with less sugar so they are not that sweet. But you can add extra sugar if needed.
