STEP BY STEP IDIYAPPAM 

INGREDIENTS:

Rice flour / Idiyappam flour - 1 cup 
Water - 2 cups
Salt    - 1/4 tsp 
Oil      - 1 tsp 

HOW TO MAKE:

In a pan add two cups of water along with 1/4 tsp of salt.  Bring it to boil and add a tsp of oil.  Add a cup of idiyappam flour.  



Keep stove in medium flame.  Combine well without any lumps.  


Keep stirring and make a non sticky dough.  Take tiny holes mould.  


Fill the dough in the murukku press.  Start pressing on the greased plate.  


Steam 10 minutes.  


Serve idiyappam with thengaipaal or vegetable kurma of your choice. 


TIPS:

Dough should be non sticky and flexible.  

If the dough is too tight then sprinkle water to make it flexible.
