Here is the perfect protein packed recipe made with green moong dal and urad dal. People who wants to avoid or skip rice this is the best healthy recipe without rice. Still the idlies are came out super soft and spongy.

INGREDIENTS:
Green moong dal - 1 cup
Urad dal - 1 cup
Green chili - 5
Ginger - small piece
Salt - to taste
Water - as required
HOW TO MAKE:
Soak green moong dal & urad dal 5 to 6 hours. Grind along with green chili, ginger, salt and needed water.
Grind into smooth batter and transfer to a bowl. Cover and ferment overnight or 8 to 9 hours. Once fermented mix well.
Pour in the idli batter and steam until cooked. Soft & Spongy Green Moong Dal Idli is ready.
For dosa adjust dosa batter consistency. Heat dosa tawa and pour a ladle of batter. Make thin circle and drizzle oil around. Cook both sides until crisp. Crispy moong dal dosa is ready to serve.
Serve Green Moong Dosa & Idli with any sambar or chutney of your choice.
