STEP BY STEP SWEET POHA:

INGREDIENTS:

Aval                      - 1 cup
Jaggery                 - 1 cup
Water                    - 1/4 cup 
Coconut                 - 1 tbsp grated
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp 


HOW TO MAKE:

Wash poha and drain the water completely.  Rest poha for 15 minutes and drizzle water if needed.  Slowly poha absorbs the moisture and form soft and fluffy. 



Take a jaggery in a pan and make jaggery syrup by adding 1/4 cup of water.  Let the jaggery dissolve completely.  When jaggery dissolved add grated coconut and cardamom powder.  Mix well and cook for couple of minutes. 


Mix well and cook for couple of minutes. Add jaggery syrup in the soaked poha and mix gently.


 

Heat ghee in a kadai fry cashews and raisins until golden brown.  Add in the poha mixture and mix gently.  Sweet poha is ready to serve.
