CHICKEN PARATHA

INGREDIENTS:

For dough:

Wheat flour      - 2 cups
Salt                   - as needed
Oil                    - 1 tsp
Water               - as needed

For stuffing:

Mince Chicken  - 250 gms
Chilli powder     - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Garam masala       - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder  - 1/2 tsp
Salt                       - as needed

HOW TO MAKE:

Mix the wheat flour by adding water little by little.  Add needed salt and the tsp of oil.  Mix well and make a soft dough.  Keep aside for 2 to 3 hours.

Heat a tsp of oil and add the mince chicken, all the powders with needed salt.  Blend well and the chicken will get cook in 10 mins time even before that.   Allow it to cool down.

In a mixie just give a stroke (Not too much) without adding a water.  Keep aside.

Take a small ball of dough and make it small roti.  Keep a tsp of chicken stuffing and cover all the edges.  Gently press it with the chappathi roller and make a thin circle.  Dust with the wheat flour to avoid messing the paratha.  Heat roti tava and place the paratha on it.  Cook both sides till it get golden spots on it.

Chicken Paratha Ready :-)  Serve with kurma, Curd or raitha...

TIPS:

Always use Tava separately for Dosa and Roti.  Once you used the tava for roti then dosa will not come perfect.

Add less salt in the dough coz, the stuffing also have salt on it.  Not adding salt on the dough is more than good.

Once the paratha get cooked apply a little ghee on both sides and it will retain the soft roti for long time.

With the balance stuffing you can make kurma or a gravy for side dish.
