STEP BY STEP CHIA SEEDS KHEER:

INGREDIENTS:

Chia Seeds - 1/4 Cup Milk - 3 1/2 Cups Condensed milk - 1/2 cup sweetened Saffron - 1 pinch Cardamom powder - 1 pinch
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Cashews - 4 - 5 break into pieces

HOW TO MAKE:

Soak chia seeds in 1/2 cup of milk for 20 to 30 minutes. 


Boil milk, take a pinch of saffron and a tbsp of hot milk and mix well.  


Add saffron milk in the boiling milk along with cardamom powder. Mix well and bring to boil. When boiling add soaked chia seeds. 


Mix well and bring to boil.  When it starts boiling turn off the stove. 


Heat a tbsp ghee and fry cashews until golden brown.  Add in chia seeds mixture.  Mix well. 


Chia Seeds Kheer / Payasam / Pudding is ready to serve!! Serve Hot or Chilled 😋


TIPS:

Do not add more than 1/4 cup chia seeds for 3 cups of milk as it when it start cooling down it will be more thicker.  

For thicker consistency you can add 1/4 cup more chia seeds. 

Any milk can be added, vegan can add almond milk, cashew milk of any of their choice. 

Nuts can be added of your choice.
