INGREDIENTS:
Oma Podi / Sev - 1 Cup
Karaboondhi - 1 Cup
Ribbon Pakkoda - 1/2 Cup
Murukku - 4
Rice flakes - 1/2 Cup ( I used cereals rice flakes)
Cashews - handful broken
Peanuts - handful with skin
Curry leaves - 2 strings
Red chilli powder - 1/2 Tsp
Salt - a pinch to sprinkle
Oil - for frying cashews, peanuts and curry leaves
HOW TO MAKE:
In a big bowl add Oma podi, muruku, karaboondhi and rice flakes. Crush the murukus into pieces.
In a kadai heat oil and fry cashews, peanuts and curry leaves. Allow it to cool down.
Add the fried cashes, peanuts and curry leaves in the bowl.
Add 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder and sprinkle a pinch of salt in the mixture.
Shake the bowl well and it will get mix evenly. Crispy Mixture is ready...Store it in a airtight container.
TIPS:
Thattai also can be added.
I used cereal rice flakes to reduce my work :-) Which tastes good too....You can add rice flakes (Aval / Poha ) as well instead of cereal rice flakes.
