INGREDIENTS:
Araikeerai - 1 Bunch
Garlic - 3 Cloves
Salt - as needed
To temper:
Oil - 1/4 Tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Red chillies - 1
Asafoetida - 1/4 Tsp
HOW TO MAKE:
Pluck the keerai / spinach from the stem, and wash it well. Remove the water with the use of the Keerai / spinach strainer. Take a pan add the keerai and garlic. Add one cup of water and cook it for 10 mins. Keerai gets cooked in 10 mins, and give a storke in a mixie, once cooled down to get a even mash.
Once cooled down, in a mixie with salt just give one stroke the keerai and garlic will get mash evenly.
Heat oil in a kadai add cumin seeds, red chillies and asafoetia and pour the keerai mixture. Give a quick stir for 2 to 3 seconds and transfer to the serving bowl.
