AVAL / POHA PAYASAM





INGREDIENTS:

Aval / Poha           - 1 Cup
Milk                      - 1 1/2 Cups
Condensed milk  - 3/4 Tin
Ghee                     - 1 Tsp
Cashews               - 5 broken
Cardamom powder - a pinch


HOW TO MAKE:

Wash the aval / poha drain the water throughly and keep aside for 10 mins and it will become soft.



Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan and add cashews and fry till golden brown and keep aside.




Boil milk in a deep pan and when it start to boiling add the aval and stir well.  Once the aval turns soft add the condensed milk and nicely blend it with the milk.




Sprinkle the cardamom powder and add the fried cashews and cook it for 2 more mins.




Serve hot / cold :-)
