BEANS PORIYAL



INGREDIENTS:

Beans                - 1 Cup finely chopped
Moong dhal      - 3 Tsp
Salt                   - as needed

To temper:

Oil                   - 1/2 Tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 Tsp
Asafoetida      - 1/4 Tsp
Red chilli        - 1


HOW TO MAKE:

Chop the beans finely, wash, drain the water and keep aside.  Wash moong dhal and add it on the chopped beans and keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes.




Heat oil in a pan splutter mustard seeds, add asafoetida, red chillies.  Add the beans and moonghal mixture with 1/2 cup of water, add salt.  Stir it now and then for even cooking and sprinkle water if the added water evaporated.  If it cooked do not add water once the water got evaporated turn off the stove and transfer to the serving bowl.





Serve with sambar, rasam rice :-)
